New Hampshire: A Proven Primary Tradition

A new exhibition presented by the New Hampshire Political Library and the New Hampshire Historical Society titled New Hampshire: A Proven Primary Tradition explores the impact New Hampshire's primary has on the national Presidential nominating process and examines how the state's political culture and traditions have shaped its first-in-the-nation role. Including more than 260 objects, photographs, and archival materials, the exhibit will engage visitors of all ages through stories, videos, and interactives.  New Hampshire: A Proven Primary Tradition received media sponsorship from The New Hampshire Union Leader and WMUR-TV, with exhibition sponsorship from Rath, Young, and Pignatelli, Boston Private Value Investors, and the Mount Washington Resort. New Hampshire Political Library Exhibition Kiosk

Since 1998, the New Hampshire Political Library has maintained an exhibition kiosk at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in Manchester, New Hampshire. The kiosk, located in the airport’s baggage claim area, highlights current Library activities and events as well as past primary stories through artifacts from our education collection.
